National Computer Corporation (NCC) Receives Gold Vendor Award of Excellence
NCC receives its 15th consecutive RSPA VAE award as it celebrates its 40th anniversary
Greenville, SC – August 3, 2026 – National Computer Corporation (NCC) is proud to announce it has received the 2026 Gold Vendor Award of Excellence in the Software category. NCC, a leading developer of comprehensive software solutions for the hospitality and retail industries and currently celebrating its 40th anniversary, has received a VAE award for 15 consecutive years. The Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA) announced the 2026 winners at RetailNOW, RSPA’s annual conference and trade show held July 26-28 in Las Vegas.
The RSPA Vendor Awards of Excellence are highly respected in the retail technology industry because they are the only honors awarded to vendors by the Reseller Community. Chuck Prince, NCC President, remarked, “It’s exciting to receive such wonderful feedback from our Resellers every year through the VAE award, but it is especially meaningful during our 40th year in business. We want to thank our Resellers for honoring us with this award, and also for their continued partnership and support for 40 years.”
NCC chose RSPA RetailNOW to announce Clay Johnson’s promotion from Channel Sales Manager to Director of Sales. Johnson, an industry veteran with more than 40 years of experience, has been with NCC since 2009.
Additionally, NCC learned at RetailNOW that its Marketing Manager Mary Harris is one of RSPA’s 50 under 40 Rising Stars, receiving the honor for the fourth consecutive year.
“On behalf of everyone at NCC, I want to thank Clay and Mary for their efforts and congratulate them on their well-deserved achievements,” said Prince.
Once again this year, Prince proudly represented NCC as the chairman of the RSPA’s Scholarship Board, an organization that has awarded nearly $3 million in scholarships to family members of RSPA member companies since 1987. Prince announced at RetailNOW that in 2026 the RSPA awarded $140,000 in scholarships to 69 students, an increase of 11 scholarships and $26,000 over last year, setting a new record.
